Ceremonies of Eisebelle

Ceremonies of the Dread Mother tend to involve shedding or drinking blood. Most typical in the Church criminals are rounded up and publicly executed and then their blood is consumed by the paritioners. This is seen as a means to consume and purify the unjust.  It is said the longer the execution takes the more likely the unjust to reach the heavens through purity. Some victims/criminals may be tortured for days before dying depending on the heighnousness of the crime. The entire known world is governed by a theocracy. The church rules everything.
